It was 10:30 am, when I stepped into a prospective office for my first day. I was familiar with a few of them around, so I wasn’t worried too much.
I stepped in with vigor…. and
“AAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh”, I screamed. For there he was. Huge, hairy and with piercing brown eyes. It was a scare-at-first sight.
He came, nayyy, bounded towards me with such eagerness that I was tempted to scream once again. He came so close I could feel his breath, his every hair.
Needless to say, I was petrified.Folks assured me that he wouldn’t hurt me, but I had other pictures flashing through my mind…
…The time I was returning home on my scooty and when this enraged dude would follow me, right at my heels. I was inches from being physically hurt…
…The time I was walking back home when a whole gang surrounded me and stood leering at me. Their mad eyes and deep-throated baritone overwhelming my pitiable voice for help…
…The time I lay in bed awake because I couldn’t sleep because of their constant loud arguments – on the Streets!…
I shook myself and came back to the present. He was still there. Standing so close I felt my personal boundary blur.
After what felt like an eternity, he left with his friends outside. And peace returned to my poor lub-dub machine.

The morning was spent fruitfully. I concentrated on work completely and had almost forgotten about him. Until….
He walked inside the room like he owned the place. He came in with such charisma. I admit, I couldn’t help stealing a glance at him once in a while. In the end, I mustered courage to ask for an introduction.
Guess what! He liked me 🙂 And I liked him too !!
He was full of enthusiasm and innocent like a baby. Anybody would take to him under a millisecond. I wasn’t an exception either. All my misconceptions about his kind vanished when I looked into those huge brown eyes.
His name was Lync. And Nobody impressed me as much as he did.

We spent sometime getting to know each other. He was a sweetheart let me tell you. His size doesn’t do him justice at all. He is a puppy, a sweet, caring, playful puppy at heart.
He was the first dog I dared to touch. And I already miss him. 😦
See you tomorrow Lync!!
Oh yes he is still a huge puppy.
