After the third book, it just feels like Cassandra is dragging the series. I don’t mind having a bit of Simon and Jordan and their teenage-adorable-boys’-thing but Clary-Jace has just become contrived romance.
I found myself skipping sessions of long, verbose dialogues clary has inside her head; it was inevitable. Maybe the focus could’ve shifted to Simon or Jordan 🙂
But I am still waiting for the last book to find out if Cassandra actually had an ulterior motive to tie us to a hook and drag us all around ennui-town for a reason.
