The first half of the book droned on like it was never gonna end. The frivolous plain-plump-Nisha with not a drop of self-respect did nothing to me as a protogonist. But this changed in the second half where she showed some sensibility by thinking on her feet. The children in the book were adorable and I felt my heart give a jolt of shock when baby Rohit hurt himself. Preethi Shenoy made the characters lovable towards the end. Happily ever after , eventhough cliched was well penned .
